Why Classroom Jobs??

Classroom jobs give students responsibilities and opportunities to demonstrate hard work beyond the academic environment. There are many job opportunities in the classroom that students may apply for and try out. If a student changes his or her mind about the job they want, they may apply for a different job during the job fairs. Typically, students stick with their job and become specialized in that job. Some of our jobs are listed below. 

Computer Technicians
-These students are responsible for collecting and organizing the computers. Computers must be plugged in so that the next class of students may use them.

Postal Service
-These students are responsible for delivering notes, bathroom sticks, and various items to other teachers in the building.

Hooky Stools
-These students are responsible for cleaning off our stools and neatly placing them under each group table.

Paper Sorters
-These students are responsible for collecting completed work and putting our papers in number order so they can be graded easily.

Librarians
-These students are responsible for making sure our library is neat and organized. These students check that the library books are in the correct leveled book bin.

Paper Passers
-These students are responsible for passing out papers to the class.
