Spelling is passed out every Friday and due the following Friday. (7 nights to complete)
Students must read at least 30 minutes each night. Your child will have a notebook in their plastic reading bag which they will be required to write responses in each week. The list of fiction questions they will choose from will be attached inside the notebook. The notebooks will be collected for a grade check each week. Responding to texts we read helps students comprehend what they have read, and further their engagement with the texts. This will serve as your child’s reading log.
Absent Students
If or when your child is absent, students can find their make up work on the Absent Bin in class. Students will have the same number of days to make it up as the number of days they missed.
If your child will have a planned absence, please have them gather their make up work from all three teachers beforehand.
Other Homework
Work that is not completed in class will usually be sent home for homework, due the next day.
